He gives men like Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan a thrashing, and he fights Zhao Yun to a draw. When he is digging for his brothers, he becomes a one man army that destroys the Yuan army. He only has two losses so far. One against both Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, and the second against Sun Ce. After his loss by Sun Ce, Zhang Liao looks a lot like someone familiar.
