Hua Xiong is Dong Zhuo's most trusted general. Unlike
Lu Bu,
Hua Xiong is only powerful and not smart. His strength is incredible, though. He discovers Huang
Gai and the rest of the Sun soldiers in
Luoyang, and he kills many of them. Huang
Gai escapes, but the two are evenly matched. Later
Hua Xiong ambushes Yuan Fang's group, but he was tricked; his army had to travel around the city walls, so the horses got tired. Dong
Zhuo then appeared, and he revealed the strategy that
Hua Xiong didn't know about. Because of this, it can be said that
Hua Xiong is either not trusted enough, or is not smart. Either way, he follows Dong
Zhuo with blind loyalty.
At
Sishui Pass,
Hua Xiong's army ambushes what is left of the warlord alliance.
Hua Xiong successfully kills 13 generals in succession in duels. At the scene is Lu Bu and
Zhang Liao, and they immediately plan to kill
Hua Xiong.
Hua Xiong loses against
Guan Yu in a duel, and leaves with one arm chopped off. Lu Bu moves in to save
Hua Xiong, and
Hua Xiong can only regret his life. Then
Zhang Liao kills
Hua Xiong to further Lu
Bu's plans.
Personally,
Hua Xiong is a minor character, but he is talented. His only problem was that he was placed between the ambition of Lu Bu and Dong
Zhuo. He didn't stay alive very long, so I cared little for him.
